We are currently in a political era characterized by polarization and strife. Politics spill over into culture and the nooks and crannies of life, and we are increasingly becoming a deeply divided and strained society and nation.

The promotion of choices toward the middle, away from extremism on both sides, is a step towards reversing our growing societal divisiveness and healing our differences that are too often expressed with antagonism and hostility.
